Alcohol advertising

In 2012 and 2015 CWAA passed motions at its National Conference to advocate for less alcohol advertising in the media and for a ban on advertising of alcohol at sporting events. To further these policies, CWAA has joined the End Alcohol Advertising in Sport (EAAIS) campaign. 

This campaign calls for alcohol advertising to be phased out of professional sports. This is an initiative of the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education, supported by health organisations across Australia.
